Midnight Legion Boxed Set Sale
I’m selling Midnight Legion, Book 1 boxed sets (and am happy to sign any if you’d like—you can note that when you order). I picked up extra copies for conventions, but as we all know, most in-person conventions last year were cancelled.
The boxed set got great reviews, was a Kickstarter staff pick, and led to two more books (“The World Reborn” and “Portal of Life”). It includes Midnight Legion Book 1, the Rulebook + Memory Book, a color map and custom dice.
It’s an interactive story where you play an android agent who has been awakened from stasis hundreds of years before your scheduled mission to defend your underground base from invaders. Unfortunately, you’ve lost your memories—and as you fight, trick or sneak your way to the surface, you realize that your mission is not what you thought it was, and you may not be who you think you are.

German-language edition of Zanján now available
The historical fiction graphic novel Zanján, which I created with C. Aaron Kreader, is now available in a German-language edition from the Offenbach-based publisher Mazloum.

“Harnessing the Sun” is about navigating the space between the person we are and the person we want to be. It’s also about race and class and assimilation and lots of other complicated stuff. But mostly, it’s about the destruction of one woman’s planet and how she responds. It’s out now in Daikaiju Zine #004.
“The Listeners” at MoComCOnline
I’ll be reading “The Listeners” at this year’s MoComCOnline. (Click here to register for free.)
Like many other growing comics conventions around the country, MoComCon is hosted by the library system, and it’s a regular reminder of how supportive and essential libraries are to writers. I chose “The Listeners” in part because it was published this year by Gargoyle Magazine, a DC-area literary institution.
I’ll be going before Don Sakers, the well-known author and reviewer for Analog, and I’m looking forward to hearing his reading and Q&A.
