My micro fiction story “Carpe Noctum” was published yesterday in 50-Word Stories. The hotel in the story is inspired by a real hotel in downtown Albuquerque. My best friend had discovered that the window at the end of one hallway was kept unlocked, and you could climb out through it and up onto the roof.
My flash fiction story “Iron and Ash” is out in the 11th issue of All Worlds Wayfarer.

My last story of the year is out today in Mythaxis Magazine #28. “How to Get AI to Like You” is about one man’s attempts to free himself from the algorithms that run his life. Consistent with that theme, all the images in this issue were generated by artificial intelligence.
